Lexington, Kentucky based post-hardcore unit Too Close To Touch have just debuted a brand new song, ‘Before I Cave In’, and an accompanying video (directed by Jon Ryan), which follows the style of a thriller/horror movie, but with the addition very explicit and humorous subtitles explaining what’s going on, it certainly puts a light twist to the scenes.
The song follows-up from their latest song, ‘Leave You Lonely’, which dropped back in September. Though both tracks are expected to feature on their yet-to-be-announced third album, news surrounding this is yet to be confirmed.
You can stream and watch the video for ‘Before I Cave In’ below.
Speaking further of the song and video, the band have said, “‘Before I Cave In’ is a dark / emotive song that was cathartic for us to write. We wanted to push ourselves to try something new for this music video and explore making a light-hearted visual that was the polar opposite of that. Sometimes humor and the ability to laugh at yourself is the best form of self-medication.”
