Few bands blend such a furious yet fun flurry of genres like London’s own The One Hundred, who dropped their fantastic debut album ‘Chaos + Bliss’ last year. Now, the band have unleashed a video to accompany the record’s titular track.
The visual accompaniment to the song is a rather bizarre affair. Frontman Jacob Field has the bottom half of his painted black whilst donning nothing but that colour, whilst the rest of the band perform around him out of sequence in some quirky get ups.
Not only that, but one side of the room has a cheerleader, the other someone dressed as a dog, and a ghost randomly appears every so often. It has to be seen to be believed, and you can watch it below.
In a track-by-track of the record that Field provided to us when the album dropped last year, he commented on the song further, saying, “We all have inner demons or inner thoughts, which always makes me curious to delve into and understand. I’d love to know why we sometimes speak to ourselves almost as reassurance in certain situations. It’s weird.”
The band’s debut full-length album, ‘Chaos + Bliss’, is out now through Spinefarm Records.
