VIDEO: Silent Screams – Low

Earlier this week, British metalcore collective Silent Screams announced that they had joined the Long Branch Records label roster, and through it they’ll be releasing their yet-to-be-titled third album, and follow-up to their 2014 full-length offering, ‘Hope For Now’.

But, before we hear anymore about the record, the band have now unveiled a video to accompany ‘Low’, the band’s new song, the lead single from their forthcoming third LP, and first release of new material since ‘Love/Less’, which they dropped earlier this year.

You can stream and watch the video that accompanies ‘Low’ below.

Speaking of the meaning behind the song, vocalist Joel Heywood explains, “This song is for anyone that has ever struggled with addiction, after struggling for so many years with anxiety and depression. In the past I found the need to self medicate, with alcohol, or drugs, or even prescription drugs. I had a realisation whilst staring at myself one time when I was off my face, that no matter how high you climb, using to achieve that high, will always make you feel ‘Low’.”

If you like what you hear, you can download the song online now from all good digital retailers (here).

More news surrounding the band’s yet-to-be-titled third album will be confirmed as it develops.
