Still tearing it up stateside after deciding to step away from their label home SharpTone Records and go independent, Georgia based metalcore outfit Attila have now debuted their second single as independent artists, ‘Blackout’.
Depicting the members taking black capsules and throwing up and/or bleeding from the eyes, the song’s lyrical story depicts a rather wild party that leads to going out of control, police involvement, and… passing out naked in a Taco Bell restaurant?
Speaking further on the song’s message and story, frontman Chris Fronzack shares, “I can’t WAIT to play this song live! Thank you all so much for the positive feedback, this song/video was really fun to create, we put a lot of work into this so I’m glad you appreciate it. For those interested in a little “background story” of the song I’ll give you the low-down. Interviewers ALWAYS ask us the same question in almost every interview: “What is the craziest party Attila has ever been to?” Well, instead of answering the question a million times over, I decided to write a song all about the wildest party we’ve ever been to, so here it is!”

The song is expected to feature on the band’s yet-to-be-announced eighth studio full-length album. More details surrounding the release will be confirmed as they develop.
