Glaswegian newcomers Take Today are continuing to showcase what they’ve been cooking up since their 2016 debut LP, ‘Choices’, and they’ve got another single to share with us all.
We’ve teamed up with the alternative rock quintet to bring you the video for their brand new single, ‘Lifeline’, which was filmed in Glencoe by Gordon Campbell (86 Media).
The video for the track sees a couple – played by Emily Lynne Wallace and Gustavis Macaulay (Dancing With Dakota) – facing challenges head on, which frontman Paul Daly says is exactly what the song is about.
“When fighting for something that you know is worth fighting for, no matter what life throws you, you are going to need to be strong and follow your heart and do what’s right. The two actors are playing a couple and this represents a time that me myself went through when you always felt like no matter what you done, it just wasn’t enough.”
You can stream and check out the video for ‘Lifeline’ below.
At the time of writing, it’s uncertain whether or not ‘Lifeline’ will remain as a stand alone single, or will feature on a forthcoming EP or full-length album.
If you fancy catching the song live, Take Today are hitting the road across the UK later this month with Toreador. Dates are listed below.
