It hasn’t been a year since Surrey’s You Me At Six released their sixth album, ‘VI’, but they’re already talking about its follow-up, and fans of their older material might be in for a treat.
Frontman Josh Franceschi and guitarist Max Helyer both spoke to Rock Sound recently about the band’s next record, and this is what Franceschi had to say.
“I think that You Me At Six, our sound has changed through different records, but at the core of it, it’s a rock band that tries to make good rock music. The last record was a happy record, and the next record is going to be an emo as fuck record. Really angry and sad.”
What do You Me At Six have planned in terms of new music? Well, according to Josh himself, expect it to be "emo as fuck" pic.twitter.com/df6eRbesoq

No further information has been released regarding the group’s seventh album. However, the outfit will return to the stage in September to headline this year’s Gunnersville Festival in London where there’ll be performing all of their singles to date back-to-back.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now and can be purchased online from the official website (here).
