Scottish pop-punks Woes have spent the past few months working on some new material following last year’s ‘Self Help’ EP, and now they’re ready to start sharing it with us.
Their new song is called ‘Suburbs’, and it acts as the lead single from their forthcoming yet-to-be-announced debut album, and also the first new material since they brought in new guitarist, Luke Bovill.
Vocalist DJ had this to say about the song.
“‘Suburbs’ was the first track we wrote when Luke joined the band. The song is about having a relationship with someone, in your home town or wherever. Then moving away and losing contact with them and wondering what they’re up to, if they’re still there, if you went back if they’d be pleased to see you.”
You can stream and check out ‘Suburbs’ below.
More details surrounding the band’s debut studio album will be confirmed as it develops.
