Hereford’s Weathered Hands have regrettably announced that they’re deciding to part ways and call it a day, but will record one final song and run of shows with KidBrother. You can read a full statement from the band, which was published on their official Facebook page, below:
“Good evening everyone!
The last few years we’ve spent together as a band have been amazing, and they’ve given us plenty of memories that we’ll remember forever. But with so many other things going on in our lives, it’s become increasingly difficult for us to put as much time and effort into the band as is required, so we’ve made the painful decision that it’s time to bring this journey to an end.
As a celebration, we’ll be going into the studio next month to record one last song, and then we’ll be playing a final run of shows over the next few months, starting in London with our mates in KidBrother on April 26th.
Thank you to everyone who has ever come to a show, sung along, bought a record, let us sleep on your floor, or just said nice things about us. We hope to see you all one last time this summer.
All our love,
John, Saul, Ben, Marek and Jamie x”
