Back in November of 2014, Derby post-hardcore sextet Violet went out on their final tour of the UK before parting ways and calling it a day. Following a surprise Facebook post, the band state they plan on returning to the studio again two years later.
The band state they’ll “begin recording something” next month, seemingly titled ‘Colours’. You can see the short post they made along with the accompanying artwork below:
“We head to the studio in November to begin recording something we should have a long time ago. Sorry for the delay.
The band also posted the following tweet via their official Twitter account, which has been almost completely dormant over the past two years.

At this time, it’s unclear exactly what the band are recording, whether it be a one-off song, an EP, or even an album. It’s also uncertain as to whether this will lead to anything further in terms of shows or some form of reunion.
We’ll confirm more news as and when it develops.
