The All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter has launched a new solo side-project called Sharpton Mann with a surprise released debut single, ‘Pine Box’.
Little has been said about the track or the pseudonym, only Ritter‘s announcement with the release on his Instagram, on which he said the following.
“I put out a song called ‘Pine Box’ today from isolation. I’m calling the project Sharpton Mann. I might put out another one some day.
Harry Gregson-Williams did the fantastic job with the strings. It was an honor to work with him.
A very special thanks to @anttmann for his photography skills, such a treat to be captured by such talent.
And a very very special thank you to my beloved @elle_satine who gave her angelic pipes to the background vocals of this number. I could hear those angels on every song I make from now on.”
You can stream and listen to ‘Pine Box’ below.
More details surrounding the project will be confirmed as they develop.
