As promised, highly esteemed and renowned progressive rock/metal outfit Tool have made their catalogue of music available on digital services to stream and download for the first time ever.

Until now, the band’s material has only been available to purchase and listen to via physical formats.

This is what frontman Maynard James Keenan had to say about the band’s long-overdue transition onto digital platforms.

“Our obsession with, and dream of, a world where BetaMax and Laser Disc rule has ended. Time for us to move on. But never fear. There’s a brand new thing we think you’re really gonna dig. It’s called Digital Downloads and Streaming. Get ready for the future, folks!”

All four of the band’s albums – ‘Undertow’, ‘Ænima’, ‘Lateralus’, and ‘10,000 Days’ – along with their ‘Opiate’ EP can now be listened to in full via most digital music services.

Their fifth full-length album, ‘Fear Inoculum’, is expected to be released on August 30th 2019.
