They’ve just dropped their ‘Who Cares’ EP and they’re playing at Download Festival this weekend, so Essex based alternative rockers Tigress have an awful lot to celebrate, and they’ve added more to that list.
Coinciding with the release of their new EP, the band have unveiled a video to accompany its lead single, ‘Hangman’, and it sees the five-piece stuck and unable to move in a wall.
Commenting on the song, vocalist Katy Jackson explains how it came together.
“We were half way through writing the EP and had a power cut for two days, so found ourselves with little to do. Sean picked up his acoustic guitar and just started playing, we had a load of candles lit and I just started singing. Sean and I wrote the song in a night, it was amazing to be cut off from everything and to just be alone with your thoughts.”

The band’s new EP, ‘Who Cares’, is out now via LAB Records.
