Acoustic duo This Wild Life have shown their support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation this week by performing a sold-out fundraiser in Anaheim, California:
If California is a little bit of a stretch, you can still help the lads support the cause as they have also released a new limited edition t-shirt to raise money for the charity. All profits from the t-shirt sales will go straight to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Speaking of why they chose to support the foundation, This Wild Life have said: ‘Our band has been very fortunate in being supported by our friends, fans, and family for years now. We feel it’s our responsibility to give back, and work towards something bigger than our own personal dreams. Supporting women in health and financial struggles is something very close to home for me. Pushing this song to women and their families who are in pain is a start, but we want to show how powerful support through music can truly be. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to donate to National Breast Cancer Foundation. One mammogram costs $100, and early detection saves lives. If we can raise the money to have 100 women checked we have the power to keep mothers, daughters, friends, coworkers, and loved ones around for years to come. It’s incredible what we can accomplish if we put our minds and our hearts together’.
