Though the band’s forthcoming headline tour this month across the UK and Europe is fast-approaching, Utah’s The Used have regrettably announced that they have been forced to cancel the full run due to a “recent family death.”
The tour was in promotion of the band’s seventh studio album, ‘The Canyon’, which dropped back in October.
The band announced the tragic news via their social accounts in a short statement, which can be read in full below.
“Due to a recent family death, The Used are saddened to announce the cancellation of their upcoming U.K. and Europe tour. Please know that the band is deeply sorry and an update will be made soon in regards to ticketing and rescheduled dates.
As per the above statement, more information surrounding rescheduled tour dates and/or refunds will be confirmed soon.
The band’s latest full-length album, ‘The Canyon’, is available now through Hopeless Records.
