Philadelphia based punk rock favourites The Menzingers have just debuted a video for ‘Strangers Forever’, the latest song to come from their soon-to-be-released LP, ‘Hello Exile’.

This is what vocalist/guitarist Greg Barnett said about the song.

“Lyrically, the song is inspired by Leo Tolstoy’s classic novel, ‘Anna Karenina’. In it, the character Darya Alexandrovna learns of her husband’s infidelity and declares: ‘Even if we remain in the same house, we are strangers — strangers forever!’.

The idea of becoming a stranger to someone you so intimately know stuck with me and became the overarching narrative to this song.”

The band’s sixth studio album, ‘Hello Exile’, is set for release on October 4th 2019 via Epitaph Records.

The album can be pre-ordered online now from the band’s official webstore (here), iTunes (here), Amazon (here), and Google Play (here).
