Yorkshire based post-hardcore outfit The King Is Dead have just revealed in a statement on their official Facebook page that they have parted ways with guitarists Omar M’Saouri and Laurence Hutchinson. As a result the band are now looking for two new guitarists to join the line-up. You can read the full statement below:
“Hey guys and gals, we have some news for you…
We would like to announce that we have officially parted ways with both our guitarists, Omar and Laurence. We wish both dudes the best in their future endeavours and would like to thank them for everything they contributed during their time in the band.
This unfortunately means we will no longer be playing our show with The Browning in Leeds on Tuesday as it hasn’t left us with enough time to find a suitable replacement.
With that said we are NOT splitting up or slowing down, we are actively searching for a new guitarist and would like anyone interested to email firstname.lastname@example.org with your details. You must be over 18, live in Yorkshire, be able to play our songs, own professional equipment and have lots of enthusiasm and motivation.
It’s been a pretty shitty few months for us but we’re seeing this as an opportunity rather than a setback and we will be back very soon with new music, rad shows and a whole bunch of cool shit.
Daneel, James and Chris.
If you fit the above criteria and are interested in joining the band, be sure to get in contact with them to see if you fit the bill.
