Currently on tour in promotion of their new record, ‘Battle Born’, LA outfit The Killers have regretfully been forced to postpone both of their Manchester Arena dates (November 13th and November 14th) due to frontman Brandon Flowers suffering from a sore throat.
The band attempted to perform their set at the first Manchester date yesterday evening (November 13th), but were forced to take a break following 3 songs into the set, unfortunately being unable to continue with the rest of the show. Shortly after the cancellation, the band stated, “Manchester, we started something we couldn’t finish and we’re so, so sorry. Working on rescheduling tonight and tomorrow’s shows. Will let you know new dates ASAP”.
Following this, tonight’s Manchester show (November 14th) has also been postponed.
The band intend to reschedule both Manchester dates for next year, bringing official confirmation of the newly rescheduled dates within the next 48 hours. Ticket holders are advised to retain their tickets and to contact their point of purchase for further information.
