It’s been fifteen years since ‘Coral Fang’ was released, the third and currently latest full-length album from Californian punk rockers The Distillers, who last year returned from their 2006 hiatus.
A few months following the announcement of their return, the quartet released two brand new singles called ‘Man Vs. Magnet’ and ‘Blood In Gutters’, and, as predicted (here), it looks like this is leading up to a new record.
Frontwoman Brody Dalle confirmed the news that the band would be heading into the studio this April to record the follow-up to ‘Coral Fang’ via the band’s Facebook page whilst also celebrating her 40th birthday.
“Hello 40, hello making a Distillers record in April ?”
At the time of writing, it’s uncertain whether or not ‘Man Vs. Magnet’ and/or ‘Blood In Gutters’ will feature on the forthcoming record.
More details will be confirmed as they develop.
