NEWS: The Audition reunite for Slam Dunk Festival 2018!

After some teasing over the past week or so, it’s been confirmed that Chicago based pop-rockers The Audition have officially reformed and will be performing their first show together since 2012 at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival over the May bank holiday weekend.

Speaking on their reunion, frontman Danny Stevens has shared, “We couldn’t more excited to be coming back to Slam Dunk Festival. We were part of the festival in the early years and the Slam Dunk shows and club nights in Leeds before that. To have our first show together as this group in nearly 10 years is really something special.”

Though it has been six years since the band announced their hiatus, their reformation will consist of the original line-up, completed by Seth Johnson (guitar), Ryan O’Connor (drums), Joe Lussa (bass), and Tim Klepek (guitar). This will be the first time the members will all be on stage together in nearly 10 years.

Along with The Audition, the organisers of Slam Dunk Festival have also confirmed a small bunch of additions to this year’s bill, including Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, and ROAM.
