British technical metal favourites The Arusha Accord have now started releasing short video updates for their forthcoming sophomore record, and follow-up to 2009’s ‘The Echo Verses’. The album has reportedly been in the works since 2011, but has had a few set backs for several reasons. You can check out the first studio video update, which was posted on the band’s official Facebook page, embedded below:
Dear Arusha fans,As part of our new years' resolutions, James and I have decided to start a weekly post on the writing process for our new album. We're pleased to announce that most of the tracks are now written – it's taken a long time, but we're really excited about the new material!Guitar Pro 5 is the hymn-book from which we all sing. Here's a little clip of James transposing his guitar parts for a new track. Excuse the midi sounds :-)Life is busy and complex; time passes quickly, but our passion for this project remains.Much love,Luke & James

The band have been on somewhat of a hiatus since 2010, with their set at Ghostfest in Leeds that year being one of their last together. They have since then posted updates sporadically online regarding the creation of a new album.
More news surrounding the album will be confirmed over the coming weeks.
