Alongside the release of their long-awaited fourth album, ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’, The 1975 have launched a conceptual interactive fan website called Mindshower.
Based on the band’s ‘The Birthday Party’ video, Mindshower provides fans with a “digital detox” whilst online, giving them an array of interactive amenities and a “unique insight”, says manager Jamie Osbourne.
With a focus on being creative, in different zones of the digital space, the band have made a suite of their own assets of ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ available, with the emphasis on fans being able to remix their own songs and create their own digital art inspired by their album.
Along with a collaboration with Amazon, upon uploading their album insured artwork into Mindshower, fans will be entered into a competition. The winning entrant will be featured in Amazon Music’s marketing campaign for the new album, with their work on Amazon’s homepage and displayed on a billboard in London.
To explore the digital detox space, you can visit Mindshower at www.mindshower.ai.
