Having spent almost two whole decades with the band, and having been part of its line-up since their 1999 inception, Long Island’s Taking Back Sunday have announced that they have parted ways with guitarist, Eddie Reyes.
The news of his parting from the band was announced via statement issued by the band online, explaining the split was amicable and was “due to personal reasons.”
You can take a look at the full statement issued by the band online below.
“Guitarist Eddie Reyes and Taking Back Sunday have parted ways due to personal reasons. Eddie was a founding member of the band and his contributions can be felt all along the way. John, Shaun, Mark and Adam love Eddie, wish him well in his future endeavors and look forward to hitting the road soon, starting in Mexico on April 26 and traveling to the UK and Germany in late May. After that they will spend the summer touring the US with long-time friends Coheed and Cambria.”
Reyes has featured on all seven of the band’s full-length studio album releases thus far, the latest being 2016’s ‘Tidal Wave’.
