After a turbulent few years internally since the release of their last album ‘Screaming Bloody Murder’ back in 2011, punk rock veterans Sum 41 have announced that they have signed to Hopeless Records and will be releasing a follow-up and their sixth full-length record through the label later this year.
Speaking of the forthcoming album, which frontman Deryck Whibley wrote, engineered, and produced, the vocalist said, “It’s crazy to think that we started this band 20 years ago and so much has happened, and it all happened really fast. When I look back at everything it still feels like it’s all so recent. I think this a good thing because it still feels like there is still so much to do… which is why I am excited for a new album and to be releasing it with Hopeless Records.”

More news surrounding the band’s soon-to-be-released sixth album will be confirmed over the coming months.
