Promising to maintain their 2020 line-up as much as possible, Slam Dunk Festival have confirmed that both Sum 41 and Don Broco will remain as headliners for 2021.
The two bands were both set to headline the festival weekend earlier this year, but due to obvious reasons (aka the ongoing coronavirus pandemic) the event was cancelled and rescheduled for May 2021.
As expected, the scheduling shift has left the original line-up set for 2020 in a state of uncertainty, with many fans feeling unsure about who would be performing at the festival next year, though organisers have assured fans that they will do all that they can to maintain as much of this year’s planned line-up for 2021 as they can.
Confirming both Sum 41 and Don Broco returning to headline next year, the festival organisers had this to say.
“We are overwhelmed by the support you have shown by keeping hold of your tickets for next year, so many thanks to you all. We are glad to say that the line-up will remain very similar to the one that you bought your tickets for, and we should be able to bring you more announcements soon.
Today we are pleased to say our 2020 headliners are confirmed to return for 2021! #SDF2021 will be headlined by Sum 41 & Don Broco. Add to that the previously announced return of NOFX and their Punk In Drublic stage!
Thank you for your patience on this, we are currently busy confirming up the rest of the line-up and hopefully will be able to announce this in the next few weeks.”
