Rising from the ashes of former band Making Monsters, the Belfast based quartet have announced a fresh start under the new name Sugarwolf and a debut single to get things going.
Commenting on the single, lead singer Emma Gallagher had this to say.
“‘Loose Ends’ was the beginning of me getting my lyrical ‘groove’ in motion. There’s not a lot of lyrical content I’ve written over the years that feels true to me, I was never honest. Sugarwolf is the beginning of something very special for all of us and a creative outlet for my mind. ‘Loose Ends’ is about overcoming control and sticking up for yourself. I guess this song was the start of a lot of things, and that is why we have chosen it as our first single.”
Alongside this, the band have also announced their first run of shows this year with more TBA in the near future.
