With things being pretty quiet with Stone Sour in recent months, it’s been confirmed in a recent interview with vocalist Corey Taylor that the band are now on an indefinite hiatus.
On a recent instalment of the Australian podcast The Green Room with Neil Griffiths when talking about his forthcoming solo album, ‘CMFT’, Taylor had this to say about the status of Stone Sour.
“I feel like Stone Sour has run its course for now. We all talked as a band and decided to put Stone Sour on indefinite hiatus. That’s the way it is. We’ve put it on the shelf for now. Everybody is kind of going and doing their own thing.”
To date, Stone Sour have released six full-length albums, the latest being 2017’s ‘Hydrograd’.
Corey Taylor‘s debut solo album, ‘CMFT’, is set for release on October 2nd 2020 through Roadrunner Records.
