Despite having been pretty quiet about creating any new music, Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor has now confirmed in a recent interview with the Rock Cellar Magazine that their forthcoming sixth album, and follow-up to 2013’s ‘House Of Gold & Bones – Part 2’, will be titled ‘Hydrograd’.
During the interview, Taylor explained where they’re up to with making the album, which is being recorded live, “We are doing a song a day, and we’ve already done nine songs. We’re about halfway done. It is awesome, it is amazing and people are going to lose their minds when they hear it.”

The band’s new album, ‘Hydrograd’, will be the first to feature guitarist Christian Martucci and Johnny Chow. It will also be the band’s first record to not feature now ex-guitarist Jim Root following his departure in 2014.
More details surrounding the record, which is expected to see a release this autumn, will be confirmed as and when they develop.
