After some cryptic teasing on-stage from frontman Corey Taylor along with an enigmatic poster at Download Festival (you can read our report on that here), Slipknot have now dropped another teaser of next year’s headline UK and European tour.
In a mailing list update to members of Outside The 9, an official Slipknot fan club, the band issued out a poster with a list of cities in the form of anagrams for fans to figure out where they’ll be stopping on the yet-to-be-announced tour next year. You can look at that here.
Now, the band have officially confirmed the names of the cities they’ll be performing in across the UK, which you can take a look at below.
Of course, at the time of writing, we have no idea what venues they’ll be playing at in these cities during the run, or even the dates of when they’ll be touring.
We’ll update you all as this develops.
The band’s sixth full-length album, ‘We Are Not Your Kind’, is scheduled for release on August 9th 2019 through Roadrunner Records.
