With a turn of a new year, it looks like 2018 is likely to be the final time that we will be able to see thrash metal legends Slayer live, and most likely will result in no further music from the heavy-hitting Californian quartet.
In a video released by the band online earlier today, titled ‘The End is Near… Slayer to make its exit with one, final world tour’, the band display several of tour posters and promo images from throughout their career, which concludes with the message “Slayer’s final North American tour dates coming…”.

Based in Huntington Beach, California, Slayer formed back in 1981, and since their inception they have released a total of twelve full-length studio albums. Some of their more popular songs include ‘Raining Blood’, ‘Angel Of Death’, ‘Serenity In Murder’, ‘Hate Worldwide’, and ‘Repentless’.
More news surrounding the band’s final tour plans and imminent disbanding will be confirmed as it develops.
