Whilst everyone is self-isolating due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many creatives are keeping themselves busy creating, including pop-rock supergroup Simple Creatures.

In a recent interview with NME (you can read the full thing here), vocalist/guitarist Alex Gaskarth (also of All Time Low) has confirmed that both he and Mark Hoppus (also of Blink-182) are working together remotely on some “potential quarantine music”.

You can read an excerpt from the interview confirming this below.

“Absolutely. We’re already working on potential quarantine music while we’re all on lockdown. He’s in Idaho – he escaped while he still could – and I’m stuck home in Maryland, so we won’t be doing it in person but we’re sending ideas back and forth and we’re always talking about what the next steps are for Simple Creatures. It’s in the works.”

More details surrounding further output from Simple Creatures will be confirmed as it develops.
