Ahead of their headlining run on what will be the final ever Vans Warped Tour this summer, Illinois pop-rockers Real Friends have just dropped a brand new song, ‘From The Outside’.
A band that are not afraid to speak about mental health and the struggles that people face in these hard times, ‘From The Outside’ faces the inner conflict to decide right from wrong, and not being able to communicate those feelings to friends and family.
Speaking on the song, vocalist Dan Lambton commented.
“This song in particular addresses uncertainties pertaining to not knowing what may be good for you or in your best interest. Whether it be medication, drugs, alcohol, psychiatric treatment, etc. and generally not being able to navigate the inner workings of your mind to know what is going on with your mental state.”

Though currently just a one-off single, there’s currently no word as to whether this will soon feature on a forthcoming EP or full-length album.
