Staffordshire based pop rock outfit Paper Tigers have announced that they are no more. They announced the decision in a statement via their Facebook page, which you can read in full below:
‘Its with heavy hearts this evening we announce Paper Tigers is no more.
Sometimes for a band of our size, life unintentionally gets in the way and its important to know when enough is enough, and when to move on to bigger and better things. We spent 4 years of our lives pouring our everything into Paper Tigers, growing as musicians and brothers, and it’s with great pride we can look back and say we gave it our all at every opportunity.
Thanks to everyone who was a part of this journey with us, had faith in us, came to our shows and made our foolish dreams a reality for that short while. It has been a great privilege of our young lives.
Its been an absolute pleasure to share our music with the world and to achieve some of the things we did- things we never thought 5 kids from Stoke On Trent in our wildest dreams would be lucky enough to experience.
Thanks in particular to Orange Amplification, Elixir Strings, Kerrang TV, Kerrang Radio, LoadedTV, XFM, BBC introducing from Stoke, The Noise Cartel, Rob Adcock, Romesh Dodangoda, Rob Thomas, The Sugarmill Stoke, Chris Wilson, Danni Brownsill, Tim Paling, The Hiding Place, Sworn To Oath, GreaterGhost, Above The Underground and all the other bands we have had the pleasure to share the stage with, and every individual that has helped us out in anyway.
Thank you for playing a part, and making this so much bigger than it was.
