Palm Reader have announced that they have left Holy Roar Records in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations against the label’s founder, Alex Fitzpatrick.

They’re the latest in a wave of bands to confirm their parting from the label, which also includes Rolo Tomassi, Svalbard, Respire, MØL, and Renounced.

You can read Palm Reader‘s full statement regarding their decision to leave Holy Roar Records and plans for their upcoming album ‘Sleepless’ below.

“We have spent the last few days in shock over the allegations that have been made against Alex Fitzpatrick, the owner of Holy Roar Records.

The extremely serious allegations are against everything that we as individuals stand for.

Palm Reader will no longer be working with Holy Roar Records effective immediately.

We are currently formulating a plan to release the album as promised and we will update you accordingly.

We will issue more information regarding pre-orders, subscriptions and the release stream when we have it.

Josh, Andy, Posh, Dan, Sam,
Palm Reader”

At the time of writing, it’s uncertain whether or not this will result in the album’s release date being delayed and pushed back.
