In the midst of a handful of scandals towards the social media giant Facebook, most notably the Cambridge Analytica situation which has been reported to obtain and use a lot of personal information from its users, Bring Me The Horizon vocalist Oli Sykes has shared his opinion.
In a tweet recently shared via his personal account, Sykes has encouraged fans to delete their Facebook accounts, calling the social media platform the “most toxic dark form of social media” which is plagued by “ill informed, bigoted reactionaries”.

Following the wake of the scandal in question, many users have deleted their Facebook accounts as a part of the #DeleteFacebook backlash movement, including other celebrities and public figures.
