Throughout his startling rise to super stardom over the past couple of years, New York born hip-hop/R&B artist Post Malone‘s ties into the world of rock, metal, punk, and hardcore have become far from unknown.
When he was 15-years old he auditioned to play guitar in Crown The Empire, he’s played covers of the likes of Nirvana, Metallica, and Green Day, and he’s got some well established friendships with bands like Knocked Loose, A Day To Remember, and even YouTuber Jared Dines.
Another tie of Malone‘s to the metal community that has recently surfaced is with Bring Me The Horizon frontman, Oli Sykes. Not only that, but Sykes has also hinted at what fans are starting to excitedly hope is a potential collaboration.
Via his Instagram account, Sykes posted an image of a recording studio, complete with a set-up of Grand Theft Auto V on a projector, along with a caption that reads “We good to go?” whilst tagging in Malone.
At the time of writing, more details surrounding the validity of these rumours being true or not from either Sykes or Malone is thin on the ground.
More details will be confirmed as they develop.
