Austin Carlile, vocalist for post-hardcore outfit Of Mice & Men, has been arrested on charges of “felonious assault” according to reports. The singer was also arrested alongside the band’s drum technician Lionel Robinson on Saturday (March 30th 2013) in Ohio.
Police reports state that Austin Carlile was arrested for felonious assault outside of 149 North at 2:50AM along with the band’s drum technician, Lionel Robinson II. The two were taken into custody on charges of felonious assault following an alleged fight that left one man “with fractured nasal bones”, according to Sgt. Jason Stanley of the Bowling Green Police Division.
According to an update on the Bowling Green Municipal Court website, it says that Carlile is due back in court on April 15th 2013. Additionally, he has been released on bail with the condition that he has no contact, direct or indirect, with the victim until further order from the court. He is also not to cause, attempt or threaten harm against any person or property.
The band themselves, their management or any other official representatives do not have any comment to provide regarding this event at this time.
