Currently on the road over in the US as part of this year’s Vans Warped Tour, having a few days break following their date in West Palm Beach in Florida, Wrexham based pop-punk outfit Neck Deep seem to have been involved in a police lockdown in a bar due to a fatal shooting that took place just outside of the venue.

The incident, which happened last night (July 5th 2017), was confirmed by the band’s guitarist Fil Thorpe-Evans, who tweeted this out to his followers to “remind everyone to be safe out there”, and adding that “the world can be a scary place.”

At the time of writing no other news surrounding the shooting have been confirmed, though all members of the band along with their touring crew are presumed safe.

The band have returned to the Vans Warped Tour routine today with the date in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Their new album, ‘The Peace And The Panic’, is scheduled for release on August 17th 2017 via Hopeless Records.
