Orlando, Florida newcomers Moodring have signed with UNFD, through which they have put out a re-issue of their debut EP, ‘Showmetherealyou’.

Moodring are somewhat of a supergroup, with its line-up consisting of vocalist/guitarist Hunter Young (Graveview, Culture Killer, D.O.G.), guitarist Sean Dolich (Minor Lift, Cat Company), drummer Lindy Harter, and bassist Kalan Blehm (Attila).

The re-issue of their ‘Showmetherealyou’ EP comes with a new track called ‘Empty Me Out’, and this is what Young had to say about it.

“‘Empty Me Out’ is about cannibalism. The lyrics were inspired by the character Gluttony from an Anime series, ‘Full Metal Alchemist’, who has an insatiable hunger, I found that concept really intriguing. Musically, the track is darker too, and stems from the heavier side of Moodring, showcasing how our sound cannot be easily defined or categorised.”
