Stroud based up-and-comers Milk Teeth have kicked off their 2016 with a bit of a change to their usual proceedings. The band have announced that they have parted ways with their vocalist, Josh Bannister, effective immediately. All forthcoming shows and tour dates will go ahead as usual, however, with a friend of the band Billy Hutton taking over vocal duties for the time being. You can read a statement made by the band via Facebook below:
“It’s a new year and a new start for Milk Teeth as our friend Josh has stepped down from the band. We wish him all the happiness in the world & the best of luck for the future. Our most wonderful friend Billy Hutton will be helping us out on all our upcoming shows & tours. We are so stoked to have Billy sharing a stage with us. This year is going to be the biggest and best yet. We have new music, videos, tours, festivals, yoyos and puppies all coming your way in 2016! Thank you for all your support & we’ll be seeing you soon at a rock music concert in your town. Keep it frosty. Becky, Chris, Oli & Billy.”
Further news regarding a permanent vocalist replacement will be announced as and when it develops.
The band’s debut studio full-length, ‘Vile Child’, is set for release on January 29th 2016 through Hopeless Records. You can pre-order a copy here.
