NEWS: Metallica to re-release third album, ‘Master Of Puppets’!

It’s common knowledge that Metallica‘s third album, 1986’s ‘Master Of Puppets’, is revered and acknowledged as one of the best metal albums of all time. Now, the band are planning to re-release the album on November 10th 2017 through their own label imprint, Blackened Recordings.

The album has been remastered for the most advanced sound quality, and will be made available physically as a standard LP, standard CD, 3-CD expanded edition, and a limited edition deluxe box set. It will also be made available digitally as to both stream and download in all its physical formats and track listings, excluding the 3-CD expanded edition.

The expanded edition will include previously unreleased demos, rough mixes, interviews, live tracks, and a 28-page booklet.

The limited edition deluxe box set will include a 108-page hardcover book including never before seen photos, outtakes and previously unreleased interviews, three LPs, ten CDs, a cassette, two DVDs, a lithograph, a folder with handwritten lyrics, and a set of six buttons.
