Heavyweight metallers Machine Head have now announced that they have recruited Jared MacEachern for their vacant bass player slot.
MacEachern was the previous bass player in now defunct metal band Sanctity, and has filled in for Machine Head in 2007 where he impressed the band. His recent audition also stood out from the pack, as guitarist Phil Demmel remembers; “There were dozens of amazing players, and it was interesting to watch each one take on our tunes. One of our biggest criteria for this gig was to be able to sing the high harmonies. That was our litmus test. And Jared passed with flying colors.”
