Californian heavy metallers Avenged Sevenfold have always had close ties with the first-person shooter video game series Call Of Duty, but now they’ve very much become a part of it.
Vocalist M. Shadows has just become a playable character in Operation Apocalypse Z, the just-released update for the latest instalment in the series, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4.
The frontman is available to play via the game’s brand new Zombie-themed Blackout mode, and you can catch Shadows riding alongside actor Danny Trejo in the trailer for the update below (skip to 0:24).
Those who want to know more about Shadows‘ involvement in the game and his relationship with developers Treyarch can also check out an interview with the vocalist here.
