Despite only being a part of the band for a little over a year, deathcore outfit Lorna Shore have announced that they have parted ways with their vocalist CJ McCreery, “effective immediately”.
The band’s announcement of his removal from the band was very brief and abrupt, confirming via social media that he was no longer their vocalist.
At the time there’s no official word from the band or an official representative regarding their decision to eject McCreery, though shortly after this announcement allegations of abuse began to surface online against him.
One such allegation can be read below.
I wrote this in October.
“I’m not going to expose every detail and relive years of my own trauma and abuse to “prove it” to strangers or people who don’t deserve one more fiber of my energy. Take it or leave it. Here is MY warning. This is MY experience with Cj McCreery.” pic.twitter.com/gtE6yuC1tt

You can read more regarding these allegations in a report published by MetalSucks.
McCreery joined the band back in mid 2018, having formerly been the frontman for Signs Of The Swarm. He replaced Lorna Shore‘s original vocalist, Tom Barber, who parted ways with the band to join Chelsea Grin in early 2018.
The band have released a handful of songs with McCreery, and with him have recorded their third album, ‘Immortal’, which will be released on January 31st 2020 via Century Media Records.
At the time of writing, there’s no word from McCreery regarding his removal from the band or the allegations, and there’s no word from Lorna Shore regarding a replacement vocalist.
