After recently confirming that he had parted ways as guitarist for Cardiff emotive post-rockers Holding Absence, Feisal El-Khazragi also suggested at the end of his leaving statement that he “will continue to write music for new projects, one of which I’ll be announcing tomorrow.”
As promised and assured to his fans, he has unveiled that he is now a part of conceptual heavy-hitters Loathe, filling the role of their bassist following Shayne Smith stepping down from the outfit a few weeks ago.
Though at the time of writing the band are yet to issue a statement of their own, Feisal announced his joining of the group in a short but direct tweet, captioning it with the band’s mantra to “Loathe as one.”

Along with being fellow signees to SharpTone Records, both Holding Absence and Loathe have created a strong band friendship since their inception, with the two outfits embarking on a co-headline tour of the UK and Europe together earlier this year, along with the release of a split EP titled ‘This Is As One’.
He has already performed as a member of Loathe for a handful of shows, including their recent sets at the Heavy Music Awards launch show in Manchester and their slot at the Ted Rocks Festival.
Both bands are expected to release more music later this year.
