NEWS: Linkin Park’s entire album discography currently charting on Billboard 200!

The volume of streams, downloads, and purchases for a band’s/artist’s singles and records often surge following their death, and it appears that the untimely death of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, who tragically took his own life at his home in Los Angeles, California on July 20th 2017, has seen this happen for the band.

Sales figures for the band’s discography, ranging from their 2000 debut ‘Hybrid Theory’, their 2004 collaboration effort with Jay-Z on ‘Collision Course’, right up to this year’s ‘One More Light’, have seen a huge spike, resulting in them all currently featuring on the Billboard 200 (here).

• Hybrid Theory (2000) is at #8
• Meteora (2003) is at #11
• Collision Course (2004) is at #116
• Minutes To Midnight (2007) is at #27
• A Thousand Suns (2010) is at #117
• Living Things (2012) is at #80
• The Hunting Party (2014) is at #184
• One More Light (2017) is at #4

Along with this, Billboard reports (here) that Linkin Park have logged a record-breaking 23 titles on the Hot Rock Songs chart, with ‘Numb’, ‘In The End’, and ‘Heavy’ claiming the #2, #3, and #4 spots respectively.
