After sharing that they were working on hosting a special public even to honour their late bandmate and friend Chester Bennington (reported here), Californian rockers Linkin Park have now announced details of a special show a special one-night-only show to celebrate his life.
The show, which will be held on October 27th 2017 at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California, will mark the first time that the surviving five members will be performing on stage together since Bennington‘s tragic passing.

The band will be joined by a number of other artists, none of which have been publicly confirmed, for an unforgettable night of music to honour the man who touched the lives of so many around the world.
The individual band members intend to contribute their fees from the event to Music For Relief‘s One More Light Fund in memory of Chester.
Tickets for the special and emotional event will go on sale from tomorrow at 6:00PM (UK time), and can be purchased online from the band’ official website (here).
Bennington was found dead in his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California, tragically taking his own life following coroner investing confirming he passed from suicide by hanging. His funeral was then subsequently held at the South Coast Botanic Garden on July 29th 2017.
