Yesterday, Limp Bizkit performed a livestream set at Lollapalooza, and during its outro they debuted a brand new song called ‘Dad Vibes’.
Frontman Fred Durst says the following, confirming it to be a new song from their new album before it plays over the PA whilst members of the band are throwing out t-shirts into the crowd.
“This song right here, it’s for you and only you. This is a song off of our new album called ‘Dad Vibes’. I want to see everybody out there dancing right now. Let me see how you do it.”
For those who just want to hear the song, a fan has provided it as a snippet from the livestream which you can check out below.
Those of you who want to watch the full livestream set can do so below.
The band’s eagerly-awaited sixth studio album and follow-up to 2011’s ‘Gold Cobra’ has been in the works for a long time, and has apparently been finished and scrapped a few times over the past few years.
In 2014 the band stated that the album is reportedly titled ‘Stampede of the Disco Elephants’, though it’s unclear if that will have changed since.
More details surrounding Limp Bizkit‘s sixth studio album will be confirmed as it develops.
