Despite only releasing their ninth album ‘Black Anima’ a few weeks ago, gothic metal outfit Lacuna Coil still have more to offer having unveiled a brand new song, ‘Bad Things’.

The track is exclusively available to listen to via streaming platform Amazon Music, and in turn makes Lacuna Coil the first Italian band to release a song solely through this channel.

‘Bad Things’ is influenced by the spooky season of Halloween, so explains vocalist Andrea Ferro.

“The spookiest time of the year is approaching, the magic night when pumpkins glow by moonlight! Halloween is known as the end of summer and the start of winter, a season associated with darkness and frigid weather.

We have decided to celebrate the fact that we will be the first Italian artists to create an Amazon Original Track with an appropriately themed song called ‘Bad Things’. The song has a unique horror vibe perfect for the last day of October, when the boundary between the living and the dead becomes blurred.”

You can give the song a listen below.

The band’s ninth studio album, ‘Black Anima’, is out now through Century Media Records.

You can order the album online from the label’s webstore (here), iTunes (here), Amazon (here), and Google Play (here).
