Metal icons Korn have confirmed that they have finished writing for their fourteenth full-length album, the follow-up to 2019’s ‘The Nothing’.
In a recent interview with Kerrang!, vocalist Jonathan Davis shared that they used the downtime with the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic to focus on new music.
An excerpt from the interview can be read below.
“We just got done writing a record… the band is in different spots all over the place now, too. I’m in Bakersfield, a couple of guys are in L.A. and a couple of guys are in Nashville. It’s like an act of God to get us all together to do anything. We have to plan that all out. I’m sure there are a bazillion other bands with new music to release, too. In the meantime, let’s just go out, play live and have some fun.”
For the time being, there’s no word on when the band will head into the studio to begin recording their new material.
More details surrounding the band’s fourteenth studio album will be confirmed as they develop.
