A few days ago, the final ever date of Vans Warped Tour wrapped up in Florida, and Buffalo’s own Every Time I Die did everything in their power to try and be the band to play the festival’s final ever note of music.

Sadly, despite guitarist Jordan Buckley‘s efforts, his line was cut short by stage hands a few minutes before he could grasp that achievement, and you can read more about that here.

The band have since posted their tributes to the now defunct touring festival, and with that frontman Keith Buckley also made a comment of his own via Twitter regarding how proud he was to not see a single MAGA (Make America Great Again) hat in the crowd at any of their sets.

As expected, though a wave of supporters were behind Keith‘s back and agreeing with his statement, there were other less positive and overall mixed responses.

One now seemingly ex-fan in particular had a bit of a heated discussion with Keith over a series of tweets.

After the exchange between Keith and the ex-Every Time I Die fan came to an end, he shared some final thoughts on how he feels about supporters of such political and social viewpoints, stating “My band doesn’t need you. Nobody does. Smash nazis at every turn.”

Keith Buckley will release his new novel, titled ‘Watch’, later this year through Rare Bird Books. You can pre-order a copy now (here).

It is expected that Every Time I Die will write and release their ninth studio album next year, which will act as the follow-up to their highly acclaimed 2016 full-length, ‘Low Teens’.
